Half-year set for reverse osmosis systems

The set of 9 AQUAVITA cartridges has been prepared for regular replacement of prefilters in standard RO systems. It is a solution for users who want to maintain high water treatment efficiency, ensure stable device operation, and at the same time effectively protect the osmosis membrane from premature wear.

Using the right prefilters is crucial for the entire reverse osmosis system. They are the ones that take on mechanical impurities and compounds that worsen water parameters, thanks to which the subsequent filtration stages can operate efficiently and safely.

What is included in the set

The set includes 9 prefilters for RO filters for about 6 months of use. It consists of three types of cartridges that create an effective system preparing water for further filtration in the osmosis system:

• AQUAVITA FCPS20 sediment cartridges with 20 micron precision,
• AQUAVITA FCCBL10 carbon blocks made of sintered activated carbon,
• AQUAVITA FCPS5 sediment cartridges with 5 micron precision.

This configuration is responsible for the mechanical and chemical preparation of water before the membrane, supporting the proper operation of the entire water filter in RO technology.

How the individual cartridges work

AQUAVITA FCPS20 sediment cartridge

This is a 20 micron filter cartridge designed to remove larger contaminants present in water, such as sand, silt, and rust. Its polypropylene nonwoven construction ensures high efficiency in capturing mechanical impurities.

The foam-like structure with open-cell microbubbles allows effective particle retention and serves as the first stage of protection for the subsequent elements of the water filtration system.

AQUAVITA FCCBL10 carbon block

The filter made of sintered activated carbon plays a very important role in protecting the osmosis membrane. It effectively removes chlorine, its derivatives, and other organic substances from the water, such as aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated pesticides, polycyclic compounds, phenol, and benzene.

This cartridge also improves the taste and smell of water. An additional advantage is lower dusting compared to carbon granulate filters, which translates into cleaner and more stable operation of the prefiltration system.

AQUAVITA FCPS5 sediment cartridge

This is a more precise 5 micron filter cartridge that retains finer contaminants, such as smaller grains of sand, silt, or rust. As another stage of mechanical filtration, it further refines water preparation before the membrane.

Like the FCPS20 model, the cartridge is made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric, which ensures high filtration efficiency and good ability to capture suspended solids.
