YT-3 is a 3" reverse osmosis membrane housing designed for high-performance RO systems with a capacity of 200-300 GPD. The YT-3 reverse osmosis membrane housing is designed to work with membranes rated from 200 to 300 GPD. This is a solution for users who are building or upgrading a higher-performance reverse osmosis filter and need a housing matched to a larger membrane cartridge.
The housing can be mounted on the bracket of any reverse osmosis system. As a result, it works well both when servicing an existing installation and when building a new reverse osmosis-based system.
Compatibility and application
The YT-3 model is standardly compatible with the Aquafilter TFC-300 membrane and with the manufacturer's 200 and 250 GPD membranes. This is important when selecting parts for an RO system, as the correct housing size is crucial for proper operation of the entire system.
Due to the larger dimensions of the housing, smaller membranes, i.e. standard models in the 50-125 GPD range, cannot be used inside it. If the reverse osmosis system uses a smaller membrane, an appropriate smaller housing must be used.
