The set includes a pipe filter housing with a drain valve and a reusable mesh cartridge. This is the FHPR-3V_R pre-filter with a mesh cartridge, intended for installation before the softener.

The set also includes a housing wrench, mounting plate, and Teflon tape. Such a set improves the quality of the water entering the softener and thus protects the media inside the unit.

The filter is equipped with a drain valve that allows flushing out sediment without removing the cartridge. In practice, this means more convenient operation and easier maintenance of the system in good condition.
