What each cartridge does
1. WPM-5 – 5 micron mechanical cartridge
The mechanical foam cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric retains larger mechanical contaminants suspended in the water. It effectively removes rust, suspended matter, sand, silt and similar deposits down to 5 microns. This is the first stage of protection for the entire filtration system and the subsequent cartridges.
2. WWB10 – carbon block cartridge
The carbon block cartridge improves the taste and smell of the water while also removing mechanical contaminants larger than 10 microns. It reduces chlorine and its harmful derivatives, helps eliminate lead and toxic heavy metals, and removes organic compounds, including bacteria. It is an important stage of water preparation before the osmosis membrane operates.
3. WPM-1 – 1 micron mechanical cartridge
The mechanical foam cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric retains finer mechanical contaminants suspended in the water, such as rust, suspended matter, sand or silt, down to 1 micron. This level of filtration additionally protects the membrane and supports proper operation of the reverse osmosis system.
4. VONTRON 75 – osmosis membrane
The osmosis membrane is a set of semi-permeable thin-film membranes. In combination with polypropylene nonwoven filters and activated carbon, it makes it possible to obtain truly clean and healthy water. The osmosis membrane removes up to 99% of all dissolved compounds, as well as bacteria and viruses. The estimated membrane service life is about 3–5 years.
5. WWL2 – inline carbon cartridge
The WWL2 inline carbon cartridge is filled with activated carbon media. The media it contains significantly improves the taste and smell of the water, reducing chlorine and other organic compounds. This is the final stage of improving everyday water comfort after filtration.
6. WML2 – inline mineralizer
Osmosis filtration removes 96 to 99% of all contaminants and minerals from the water. The WML2 dolomite mineralizer enriches the water with minerals lost during osmosis filtration. Water flowing through the cartridge is replenished with elements important for the human body, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium.
CLASSIC dual faucet included
The kit includes a dual, chrome-plated faucet with ceramic valves. Two independent valves allow you to draw mineralized water, intended for drinking or cooking, as well as non-mineralized water. This is a convenient solution for users who want to use two types of water at one draw point.
