3-stage under-sink filter for pre-filtration and softening

This 3-stage under-sink pre-filter has been designed as a complete set for installation under the sink. The system is based on three housings mounted on a frame and uses proven filter cartridges responsible for successive stages of water purification and conditioning.

The solution works well where, apart from the preliminary removal of mechanical impurities, reducing water hardness is also important. As a result, the system helps limit deposit buildup and improves the operating conditions of other components of the installation.

How does 3-stage filtration work?

Stage I - FCPS20 cartridge

The first filtration stage is the FCPS20 cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric with a filtration precision of 20 microns.

• removes mechanical impurities larger than 20 microns, such as silt and sludge,
• recommended cartridge service life is 3-6 months depending on water quality.

This is an important pre-stage because it reduces the flow of larger solid particles to subsequent elements of the water filtration system.

Stage II and III - FCCST cartridges

The second and third stages use FCCST cartridges designed for water softening.

• water softening cartridge with ion-exchange granules,
• removes calcium and magnesium ions, replacing them with harmless sodium ions,
• recommended cartridge service life is 2-4 months depending on water quality.

Using two softening stages supports effective reduction of water hardness and helps limit the formation of limescale and deposits in everyday use.

Design and ease of use

The filter is based on a 3-part housing, which makes cartridge replacement easier while also ensuring maximum tightness. It is a practical design for regular home use.

The set components are made from the highest-quality materials, manufactured in the European Union. The whole set has been prepared so that installation and later operation are as convenient as possible.

Additional components increasing functionality

• 2 pressure gauges - allow pressure reading and help determine when the cartridges should be replaced.
• 3 antibacterial centering discs - made using BACinix technology with nanosilver, preventing the growth of microorganisms.
