Description
Professional dropwise general water hardness tester Supreme TITRANT.
Helpful in determining the hardness of water in the installed water system. The tester allows for multiple measurements (depending on water hardness, this can be 10 measurements or 30 measurements - typically, 27 measurements at 15 dH). The tester determines water hardness in units of dH (German degrees), which are commonly used in Poland.
If the water hardness is higher than 10-12 degrees dH, the water qualifies for softening to protect the water system and the connected fixtures and household appliances (washing machine, dishwasher). Water softening protects system components from the deposition of limescale (boiler scale).
The general hardness scale of water is as follows:
- 0-4 dH - very soft water
- 5-8 dH - soft water
- 9-12 dH - moderately hard water
- 13-18 dH - hard water
- 19 and above dH - very hard water
