The water is filtered without the use of chemicals, as reverse osmosis is a 100% natural process. An additional advantage of the system is its speed and efficiency - there is no need to wait many hours for water replacement.

➡️ Basic applications of the filter for aquarists:

• lowering the pH level of water cannot be determined how many pH points the water will be lowered (it depends on the parameters of the water supplying the filter), in most cases it is 1-2 points ( depending on the supply water)
• softening the water the RO membrane effectively removes calcium and magnesium compounds from the water, usually lowering the total hardness to zero or within zero dH (depending on the parameters of the incoming water)

The osmotic membrane removes 90-98% of all dissolved compounds in water, as well as bacteria and viruses. (membrane lifespan 3 - 6 years depending on water contamination)
