OCEAN RX 25 MAXI belongs to a new series of softeners equipped with modern software, a volumetric controller, an anti-flood valve, and a by-pass. It is a solution designed for users who expect effective water hardness reduction without troublesome operation.

How the OCEAN RX 25 MAXI softener works

Water softening involves removing the components that cause water hardness. This process consists of replacing calcium and magnesium ions, which are responsible for water hardness, with sodium ions, and it takes place as water flows through the ion-exchange resin.

When the ion-exchange capacity of the media is exhausted, it is subjected to a regeneration process using a brine solution. Thanks to this, the device can operate automatically and maintain high water treatment efficiency for a long time.

Controller with flow measurement

The operation of RX heads is based on modern rotating ceramic disc technology. Two ceramic discs are made of high-quality ceramic resistant to abrasion and corrosion. This solution ensures very good sealing inside the controller, and thus long-lasting and trouble-free operation.

The ceramic elements are resistant to the buildup of contaminants, including iron, among others, so they do not accumulate in the controller.

Installation and use

The softener is installed near the water meter, in a location where it can be connected to the sewer system or a floor drain. After completing the hydraulic connection and power supply, the device requires parameter settings according to the manual. Then salt should be poured into the tank.

From that moment, the softener automatically controls the amount of water flowing through it and selects the regeneration day.

10" inline pre-filter

To protect the valve head against mechanical impurities carried in the water, installation of a 10" inline pre-filter with a polypropylene cartridge is recommended. The set includes the housing with a supply of 5 string cartridges.

The innovative 3-piece housing design makes cartridge replacement easier, because to unscrew the housing it is enough to unscrew only the ring. There is no need to rotate the entire sump, as in the case of the 2-piece version.

The transparent 10" housing allows visual assessment of the contamination level of the cartridge placed inside the sump. The 3-piece housing ensures maximum housing tightness and guarantees easy cartridge replacement. The head features a brass thread. The product was made from high-quality materials, and its production and assembly took place in the European Union.

5 x AquaVita PP20 string cartridge

The universal sediment cartridge made of polypropylene string by AquaVita captures all kinds of mechanical impurities, such as sand, silt, or rust. PP20 string polypropylene cartridges are made of pure polypropylene fiber wound around a filter core.

This design ensures an increase in filter density toward its core. These cartridges are intended for the pre-filtration of suspensions and mechanical sediments that can cause damage to heating devices and household equipment. It is a practical filter cartridge supporting the protection of the entire installation and the devices working with the softener.
