BNT control head and convenient operation

The softener is equipped with a BNT series controller with an English menu, making configuration and daily operation easy and intuitive. The backlit display makes it easier to monitor settings, while automatic operation reduces the need for ongoing user intervention.

The control head is equipped with a MIXING residual hardness valve, which allows precise adjustment of the outlet water hardness. The set also includes a BY-PASS valve, making operation and installation servicing easier.

How does PUROLITE C100-E media work?

The device uses PUROLITE C100-E ion exchange resin with a high capacity for removing magnesium and calcium ions. These are the components responsible for water hardness and limescale formation.

When the water comes into contact with the softening media, calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged for sodium ions. As a result, soft water enters the plumbing system, and the ions responsible for hardness are discharged into the sewer during device regeneration.

This operating method makes the softener an important part of a household water treatment system. In many installations, it works as a stage preparing water for further solutions, such as an under-sink water filter, a filter cartridge for mechanical filtration, or more advanced systems such as a reverse osmosis filter, RO filter, reverse osmosis system, or reverse osmosis used for drinking water.

10" inline pre-filter with accessories

To protect the control head against mechanical contaminants carried in the water, installation of a 10" inline pre-filter with a polypropylene cartridge is recommended. The set includes the housing with a supply of 5 string wound cartridges.

The innovative 3-piece housing design makes cartridge replacement easier, because to unscrew the housing it is enough to unscrew only the ring. There is no need to rotate the entire bowl, as in the version consisting of 2 parts. The transparent 10" housing allows visual assessment of the degree of contamination of the cartridge placed inside the bowl.

The 3-piece housing ensures maximum tightness of the housing and guarantees easy cartridge replacement. The head has a brass thread. The product is made of high-quality materials, and the entire element was manufactured and assembled in the European Union.

5 x PP20 AquaVita string wound cartridge

The set includes 5 universal sediment cartridges made of polypropylene string from AquaVita. The cartridges retain various types of mechanical contaminants such as sand, silt, or rust.

PP20 string wound polypropylene cartridges are made of pure polypropylene fiber wound around a filter core. This design ensures increasing filter density toward its core. The cartridges are intended for preliminary filtration of suspended solids and mechanical sediments that may cause damage to heating equipment and household appliances.

It is a practical filter cartridge that supports protection of the entire system and improves the operational safety of the softener.

25 kg tablet salt for resin regeneration

The set includes 1 bag of vacuum tablet salt weighing 25 kg. Tablet salt is used as a regenerating agent for ion exchange resin in central softening stations.

The package contains salt in tablet form, which is easy to pour into the salt chamber in the softener. This is high-quality salt. Compared to cheap substitutes, it contains an anti-caking agent. The salt can also be used in dishwashers and may serve as a substitute for expensive salts intended specifically for that purpose.

Operation and everyday use

OCEAN BNT MINI 10 has been designed for automatic and maintenance-free operation. The regeneration system is controlled in volumetric-time mode, which allows the device to adapt its operation to actual water consumption and the operating schedule.

The device does not shut off water during regeneration. The applied brine float valve provides overflow protection, and convenient access to the salt filling opening makes regular replenishment of the regenerating material easier.

The amount of soft water that can be drawn between regenerations depends on the hardness of the supply water. For individual values, it is as follows:
