BNT7650 controller – convenient operation and precise control

The softener is equipped with a BNT7650 control head. This is a proven controller from the BNT series with a Polish-language menu, making configuration and everyday operation easy and intuitive. The backlit display improves user comfort, and automatic operation keeps maintenance to a minimum.

The head is equipped with a MIXING residual hardness valve, which allows precise adjustment of the outlet water hardness according to the user's requirements. The set also includes a BY-PASS valve, useful during servicing and installation configuration.

How PUROLITE C100-E media works

At the heart of the device is high-quality PUROLITE C100-E ion exchange resin. The media is responsible for effectively removing calcium and magnesium ions, which cause water hardness and lead to scale buildup in the installation and devices.

The operating description of the device states that after flowing through the carbon media, the water comes into contact with the softening media. At this stage, calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged for sodium ions. The softened water then enters the plumbing system, while hardness ions are discharged to the sewer during the device regeneration process.

To protect the control head from mechanical impurities carried in the water, it is recommended to install a 10" inline prefilter with a polypropylene cartridge. The set includes the housing along with a запас of 5 string-wound cartridges.

The innovative 3-piece housing makes cartridge replacement easier, because to unscrew the housing, you only need to unscrew the ring itself. There is no need to rotate the entire sump, as in the 2-piece version. The transparent 10" housing allows visual assessment of the contamination level of the cartridge placed inside the sump. The 3-piece design ensures maximum housing tightness and makes cartridge replacement easier. The head features a brass thread. The product is made of high-quality materials, and the entire unit was manufactured and assembled in the European Union.

5 x AquaVita PP20 string-wound cartridge

The set includes 5 universal sediment filter cartridges made of polypropylene string from AquaVita. The cartridges retain various types of mechanical impurities such as sand, silt, and rust.

PP20 string-wound polypropylene cartridges are made of pure polypropylene fiber wound around a filter core. This design provides increasing filter density toward its core. The cartridges are intended for preliminary filtration of suspended solids and mechanical sediments that may cause damage to heating equipment and household appliances.

This is a practical filter cartridge for protecting the entire installation and a very good complement to the water treatment system.

25 kg vacuum tablet salt

The set also includes 1 bag of tablet salt weighing 25 kg. Tablet salt is used as a regenerating agent for ion exchange resin in central water softening stations. The package contains salt in tablet form, which is easy to pour into the salt chamber of the softener.

This is high-quality salt. Compared to cheap substitutes, it contains an anti-caking agent. The salt can also be used in dishwashers and as a substitute for expensive salts intended specifically for these appliances.

Operation and everyday use

OCEAN BNT MIDI 25 operates automatically and maintenance-free, with regeneration controlled in volumetric-time mode. This means convenient operation adjusted to actual water consumption and device settings. During regeneration, the softener does not cut off the water supply, which increases user comfort.
