BNT 7650 control valve

The softener is equipped with a BNT series controller with a menu in Polish, which makes configuration and daily operation easier. The intuitive programmer and backlit display allow convenient monitoring of the device’s operation.

The valve head has a MIXING residual hardness valve, allowing precise adjustment of the outlet water hardness according to user needs and installation requirements. An additional advantage is the BY-PASS valve, which makes system operation and servicing easier.

How PUROLITE C100-E ion exchange media works

The device uses high-quality PUROLITE C100-E ion exchange resin. The media is responsible for removing ions that cause water hardness, primarily calcium and magnesium.

When water comes into contact with the softening media, calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged for sodium ions. As a result, soft water enters the installation, while hardness ions are discharged into the drain during the device regeneration process.

This solution results in less scale buildup in pipes, fittings, boilers, washing machines, and dishwashers. It is a proven way to effectively treat utility water throughout the entire house.

Inline pre-filter and accessories

To protect the valve head against mechanical impurities carried in the water, it is recommended to install a 10” inline pre-filter with a polypropylene cartridge. The set includes a housing with a supply of 5 string wound cartridges and installation accessories: a wrench and a mounting plate.

The innovative 3-piece housing design makes cartridge replacement easier, because to unscrew the housing it is enough to loosen only the ring. There is no need to rotate the entire sump as in 2-piece designs.

The transparent 10" housing allows visual assessment of the contamination level of the cartridge placed inside the sump. The 3-piece housing ensures maximum housing tightness and convenience during operation. The head features a brass thread. The product is made of high-quality materials, manufactured and assembled in the European Union.

5 x PP20 AquaVita string wound cartridge

The set includes 5 universal sediment cartridges made of polypropylene string by AquaVita. The cartridges retain mechanical impurities such as sand, silt, and rust.

PP20 string wound cartridges are made of pure polypropylene fiber wound around a filter core. This design ensures increasing filter density toward the core, which supports effective filtration of suspended solids and mechanical deposits.

It is a practical filter cartridge for preliminary protection of heating devices and household appliances against contaminants that may cause damage or accelerated wear of installation components.

25 kg vacuum tablet salt

The set includes 25 kg of vacuum tablet salt for water softeners and dishwashers. Tablet salt is used as a regenerating agent for ion exchange resin in central softening stations.

The package contains tablets that are easy to pour into the salt chamber in the softener. This is high-quality salt which, compared to cheap substitutes, contains an anti-caking agent. It can also be used in dishwashers and works well as a substitute for expensive salts dedicated specifically to those appliances.

Operation and everyday use

OCEAN BNT MIDI 20 has been designed for automatic, maintenance-free operation. Regeneration control takes place in volumetric-time mode, which means the device adjusts the media renewal process to water consumption and system settings.

During regeneration, the device does not cut off the water supply, which increases convenience of use in the home. The brine float valve acts as overflow protection, and easy access to the salt refill opening simplifies daily operation.

A practical complement to the operation of the softener can be a home water filtration system based on solutions such as an under-sink water filter, reverse osmosis, an osmotic filter, a reverse osmosis filter, or a reverse osmosis system for drinking water. The softener is responsible for protecting the entire installation against limescale, while additional point-of-use systems can support the quality of water intended for drinking and cooking.
