WODARO BAMBO is a compact 2-in-1 water softener with a nitrate bed and ion-exchange resin. The device is made of high-quality, durable materials and equipped with a control head, which translates into effective and economical water treatment. The design has been developed for reliable operation and convenient everyday use.

Inside the device there are 25 liters of high-quality Purolite C100-E softening media and 7 liters of Purolite A520 nitrate media. In total, this gives 32 liters of media, allowing the device to combine water softening with additional filtration support aimed at nitrate reduction.

How does a water softener with nitrate reduction work?

Water softening consists of removing the components responsible for hardness. The process takes place as water flows through ion-exchange resin, where calcium and magnesium ions are replaced with sodium ions. When the ion-exchange capacity of the bed is exhausted, it is regenerated using a brine solution.

In addition, the device uses Purolite A520 media designed to work toward nitrate reduction. Thanks to combining two functions in one compact housing, the user gets more comprehensive water treatment without the need to use several separate devices.

The structural elements of the BAMBO softener have been selected with durability, service convenience, and stable operation in mind.

2. Unique by-pass valve, mounted at the rear of the device.
3. High-quality, durable compact housing of the softener.
4. Multi-layer media tank, reinforced with fiberglass and corrosion-resistant.
5. Purolite A520 nitrate media.
6. Ion-exchange media ensuring ideal water softening.
7. Tablet salt.
8. Self-cleaning distributor baskets — lower and upper.
9. Brine valve controlling the flow of water to and from the brine tank, equipped with overflow protection.
10. Brine tank made of high-density polyethylene, impact-resistant and deformation-resistant.

Pre-filtration

The set includes an FHPR-3V_R prefilter with a drain valve, equipped with a reusable mesh cartridge. The kit also includes: housing wrench, mounting plate, and Teflon tape.

The set is installed before the softener to improve water quality and thus protect the media inside the device. This is an important stage of water preparation before the actual treatment process.

Body with 3-piece housing

The body has a 3-piece housing. This solution makes servicing easier, because when unscrewing, it is enough to loosen only the ring. There is no need to rotate the entire dome, as in 2-piece versions.

Drain valve

The filter is equipped with a drain valve that allows sediment to be flushed from the filter without removing the cartridge.

FCPNN50M mesh cartridge

The FCPNN50M mesh cartridge is an efficient sediment cartridge designed for cold water treatment. The nylon mesh captures sand-sized impurities and similar deposits, preventing them from entering the further part of the water installation. The cartridge practically does not cause pressure drops, as the resistance to water flow is minimal.
