Detailed water filtration process

The filter media has been developed on the basis of high-quality ion-exchange resins and natural activated carbon. The cartridge design and individual layers are responsible for improving the water parameters and its practical usability.

1. Filter cartridge head with four-stage adjustment, allowing the system operation to be matched to the water hardness in your home.
2. Filter cartridge housing – durable and ensuring watertight water flow.
3. Nonwoven fabric, which acts as a mechanical filter – it traps large solid particles, fine suspended matter, sand, and contaminants washed out from plumbing surfaces.
4. Ion-exchange resin reduces water hardness responsible for limescale formation and lowers the content of metals such as copper and lead.
5. Second layer of nonwoven fabric, through which the contaminant retention process is carried out again.
6. Carbon block made from coconut shells – reduces chlorine and its compounds, thereby improving the taste and smell of the water. It also removes unwanted organic contaminants.

Softening adjustment and matching to water hardness

The filter head has 4-stage water softening adjustment. This allows the water filtration system to be adapted to the actual water hardness in your home installation.

The filtration level should be set after determining the hardness of the tap water using the test strip included in the set. Water hardness information can also be obtained from local water utilities.
