The set includes two three-piece Aquafilter 10" housings, mechanical and carbon cartridges, mounting elements, and accessories needed for operation. Thanks to the 10" standard, the set can also be part of more advanced filtration solutions, including installations working with under-sink systems, where an appropriate filter cartridge is used.
Complete water filtration set for the entire installation
This set has been designed for filtration of utility water in houses and apartments. It works both to improve water quality throughout the entire installation and as protection for a water softening station. The recommended setup is to install one housing with a string cartridge before the softener and a second housing with a carbon cartridge after the water softener.
Using two filtration stages makes it possible first to stop mechanical impurities and then improve the organoleptic properties of the water and reduce the presence of unwanted substances affecting the comfort of everyday use.

PP 20 micron Aqua Vita string cartridges – mechanical filtration stage
The set includes 5 universal Aqua Vita polypropylene string sediment cartridges. Their task is the preliminary filtration of suspended solids and mechanical deposits that may cause damage to heating devices, fittings, and household appliances.
The PP20 cartridges are made of pure polypropylene fiber wound onto a filtration core. This design creates a density gradient, thanks to which larger particles are retained in the outer layers of the cartridge and finer impurities closer to the core. This translates into efficient operation and longer cartridge life.

FCBL10 Aqua Vita carbon block cartridges – improved taste, odor, and chlorine reduction
The second filtration stage consists of 5 FCBL10 Aqua Vita carbon block cartridges. The cartridges improve water taste and odor, remove mechanical impurities larger than 10 microns, reduce chlorine and its derivatives, eliminate lead and toxic heavy metals, and also remove organic compounds, including bacteria.
The cartridges are made of sintered activated carbon. This material makes it possible to remove 98% to 99% of free chlorine, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons from water. In addition, it reduces up to 85% of chlorinated pesticides, polyaromatic compounds, phenol, benzene, and other organic substances.

How this filtration set works
