Aquafilter FPCS1-L is a sediment filter made of polypropylene non-woven fabric (Melt-blown technology), made of 100% pure polypropylene. It filters mechanical impurities down to 1 micron: sand, silt, rust, and suspensions. Designed for SLIM/LONG 20" (20 x 2 1/2") housings. Operating range: 2-45°C. Recommended replacement: up to 6 months (depending onwater quality).
Description
Polypropylene fiber cartridge, made using "Melt-blown" technology. Made of 100% pure polypropylene (without any additives).It captures all kinds of mechanical impurities: sand, silt, rust, etc., up to 1 micron in size.
Designed for SLIM or LONG type housings, for cartridges with a height of 20 inches and a diameter of 2 ½ inches. These types of housings are often installed on main water connections in single-family homes. Water filtration using "SLIM" cartridges generally provides adequate performance with simultaneously low operating costs.
Advantages of the cartridge:
- excellent sediment absorption: sand, silt, rust, and suspended solids from water,
- ensures low pressure drops, with exceptional dirt retention capabilities,
- the fiber is resistant to some chemical compounds - its main application is for general and drinking water filtration.
