Description
The BIG BLUE FH10B1-B-WB type housing consists of two parts: the cover and the head with a 1" brass thread.
It is equipped with a vent valve that allows for the release of air trapped in the filter after replacing the cartridge, as well as a pressure gauge that monitors the level of contamination in the cartridges. Thanks to the use of the same slot for the vent and pressure gauge, it is possible to expand the housing with a second pressure gauge to measure the pressure at the inlet and outlet of water from the housing (the second pressure gauge is not included in the set and must be purchased separately). Additionally, the brass insert mounted in the slot allows for easy screwing and unscrewing of the vent and pressure gauge without the risk of damaging the thread of the slot.
The housing can be mounted individually or connected in series. It is installed on the pipe supplying cold water to the house or apartment. Due to its high efficiency, it is used in industry. The FH10B1-B-WB installed before devices such as water softeners, iron removers, or boilers will effectively protect them from the accumulation of various types of contaminants, while also increasing their lifespan.
The housing is compatible with a wide range of mechanical, specialized, and carbon 10" BIG BLUE cartridges available on the market.
The FH10B1-B-WB housing is available in a set with a mounting plate, reducer, screws, a wrench, and a pressure gauge.
