FF06-3/4AA Honeywell mechanical water filter

Original Honeywell FF06 sediment filter, designed for preliminary water filtration at main connections. The filter is equipped with a stainless steel mesh that captures mechanical impurities of 100 microns and larger.

The Honeywell brand is known for its robust water filter designs. Filters from this company have been installed for many years in single-family homes, apartments, etc., and larger models in industrial water filtration systems.

Application:

The FF06 filter belongs to the filters with the so-called mesh backwashing. This filter ensures continuous water filtration by capturing impurities such as rust, sand, hemp fibers, etc., on the filter mesh. The impurities accumulate at the bottom of the transparent housing and can be easily removed by briefly opening the ball valve. Due to its small size, the filter can be installed where there is little space for installation.

Typical applications

The FF06 filter can be installed in all types of systems. It is especially effective in domestic installations, allowing compliance with applicable standards and in selected industrial applications. The FF06 filter is installed: In systems where devices require protection from impurities In systems where a pressure regulator is not required (static pressure up to 5 bar) In systems where a pressure regulator is installed but cannot be equipped with a filter.

The filter is designed for drinking water. In the case of use in technological installations, its effectiveness should be checked individually.

Operating principle:

When water enters the filter, it flows into the filtration chamber and from the outside into the filter cartridge, which captures impurities on its outer surface. Opening the ball valve causes the filter cartridge to be backwashed and the impurities to be removed outside while ensuring the supply of filtered water.
