Honeywell FF06-3/4AA is a mechanical pre-filter for the main water supply with a mesh flushing system. The insert made of stainless steel captures mechanical impurities from 100 microns (including rust, sand). 3/4" connection. The transparent housing facilitates monitoring of contamination, and flushing is done by briefly opening the ball valve, without interrupting the flow of filtered water.water.
Honeywell FF06-3/4AA is a compact water filter designed for pre-filtration at the main connection. As a mechanical sediment filter, it effectively traps contaminants from 100 microns, such as rust, sand, and fibrous deposits, supporting the entire water filtration system and helping protect fittings, household appliances, and further stages of water treatment, including installations where an RO filter or reverse osmosis system is used. The model with a 3/4" connection is equipped with a stainless steel mesh, a transparent housing for contamination level inspection, and a ball valve for quick flushing without interrupting the flow of filtered water.

The original Honeywell FF06 was designed for operation on main water connections as the first stage of protection for the installation against mechanical contaminants. Its task is to capture solid particles before they reach fittings, valves, household appliances, and subsequent elements of the treatment system.
The stainless steel filter element retains mechanical contaminants with a size of 100 microns and larger. In practice, this means effective separation of typical deposits present in water installations, such as:
Thanks to its compact size, the filter can also be installed where installation space is limited.
The filter belongs to solutions with rinsing of the filter mesh. Water enters the filtration chamber and flows into the filter element from the outside. It is on the outer surface of the mesh that mechanical contaminants are retained.
Contaminants collect at the bottom of the transparent housing, making them easy to inspect and remove. To flush the filter, simply open the ball valve briefly. This rinses the filter element and discharges the deposits outside while maintaining the supply of filtered water.
The FF06 model can be installed in all types of water systems. It performs particularly well in domestic installations, where it helps maintain the proper operation of appliances and the water system, as well as in selected industrial applications.
The FF06 filter is installed:
This is a practical solution wherever preliminary water filtration is needed before further treatment stages or before devices sensitive to mechanical deposits.
Working medium: water.
The filter has been designed for drinking water. It can also be used in process installations, but in such applications, operating effectiveness should be assessed each time with regard to the specific medium and operating conditions.
The filter must be installed in a horizontal position, with the filter chamber facing downward. This installation method is important for correct system operation and effective accumulation of contaminants in the lower part of the housing.
The FF06 filter consists of the following elements:
Daily use of the filter is convenient and does not require complicated actions. The transparent cover allows quick assessment of the contamination level of the filter element without disassembling the device. When deposits collect at the bottom of the housing, they can be removed by briefly opening the ball valve.
This design reduces service interruptions and makes it easier to keep the installation clean. An additional advantage is the possibility of replacing the filter element and the filter housing, which simplifies further operation.

The filter captures mechanical contaminants from 100 microns, including rust, sand, and hemp fibers.
No. One of the important advantages of the FF06 model is the continuous supply of filtered water also during filter flushing.
Cleaning is performed by briefly opening the ball valve. This rinses the filter mesh and removes the accumulated contaminants to the outside.
The filter must be installed horizontally, with the filter chamber facing downward. This position is required for proper operation of the device.
Yes. The filter is intended for drinking water and meets KTW requirements for this application.
The model is equipped with a 3/4 inch connection.
Yes. The transparent housing makes it easier to monitor the contamination level of the filter element on an ongoing basis, making it easier to plan flushing or service activities.
Yes, as a water filter for preliminary installation protection, it can support the entire water filtration system and limit the flow of larger contaminants to further treatment stages such as a reverse osmosis filter, RO filter, or reverse osmosis.
