Sediment filter for preliminary protection of the water installation
The original Honeywell FF06 was designed for operation on main water connections as the first stage of protection for the installation against mechanical contaminants. Its task is to capture solid particles before they reach fittings, valves, household appliances, and subsequent elements of the treatment system.
The stainless steel filter element retains mechanical contaminants with a size of 100 microns and larger. In practice, this means effective separation of typical deposits present in water installations, such as:

How the Honeywell FF06-3/4AA works
The filter belongs to solutions with rinsing of the filter mesh. Water enters the filtration chamber and flows into the filter element from the outside. It is on the outer surface of the mesh that mechanical contaminants are retained.
Contaminants collect at the bottom of the transparent housing, making them easy to inspect and remove. To flush the filter, simply open the ball valve briefly. This rinses the filter element and discharges the deposits outside while maintaining the supply of filtered water.
