Description

Water softening cartridge with ion exchange resin granules.

Removes calcium and magnesium ions from water, replacing them with harmless sodium ions. Recommended for protecting household appliances, heating systems, and plumbing installations from the buildup of calcium and magnesium deposits (scale).

Softening cartridges contain fine-grained ion exchange resin with a high capacity for exchanging calcium and magnesium ions for sodium ions. The cartridges are designed so that water flows in one end of the cartridge and out the other, passing through the entire bed of ion exchange resin granules, ensuring maximum effectiveness. The cartridges have their own end filter, preventing resin particles from escaping outside the filter.

Advantages of the cartridge:

  • the cartridge contains technologically treated ion exchange resin granules with grain sizes from 0.2 to 0.7mm
  • features exceptionally effective capacity for exchanging calcium and magnesium ions for sodium ions, softening the water
  • used for both cold and hot domestic water
  • prevents scale buildup in household appliances and industrial machines
  • cartridge components have been approved by NSF and FDA
  • the cartridge has a hygienic certificate from PZH
  • designed to ensure that water flowing through the cartridge penetrates the entire bed of ion exchange resin granules, providing maximum performance

To extend the lifespan of the cartridge, a mechanical filter housing from the FCPS or FCPP series should be installed before the housing with the carbon cartridge.
