This water filter with active media helps reduce the presence of dissolved iron compounds, improves the taste and odor of water, and reduces metallic aftertaste. Iron removal cartridge for Big Blue 10 housings

Aquafilter FCCFE10BB has been designed to operate in 10" Big Blue housings. Inside the cartridge there is active iron-removal media that effectively captures iron compounds dissolved in water. This solution is especially useful wherever water causes a metallic aftertaste, unpleasant odor, or leaves difficult-to-remove marks on appliances and surfaces.

The cartridge uses a special fine-grained granulate with a high capacity for capturing iron ions. At the same time, the media composition inside the housing helps adjust the water reaction (pH), which improves the iron removal process itself and supports more effective performance of the filtration medium.

How does the Aquafilter FCCFE10BB cartridge work?

Water flowing through the cartridge penetrates the entire ion-exchange granulate bed, ensuring its maximum utilization. As a result, the cartridge effectively supports the reduction of iron compounds responsible for deteriorating the utility properties of water.

The design has been supplemented with a final filter that prevents granulate particles from escaping beyond the cartridge. Additionally, a polypropylene filter insert has been used, serving as extra protection for the entire filtration structure.
