Description

Active bed cartridge for water deironization. Effectively retains dissolved iron compounds in water. Used to protect household appliances (washing machines, dishwashers) and heating devices.

The deironizing cartridge contains a special fine-grained granulate with a high capacity for capturing iron ions. The cartridge is designed to effectively improve the taste and smell of water by removing its specific metallic aftertaste. The cartridge has its own end filter, preventing granulate particles from escaping outside the filter.

The composition of the media inside the cartridge housing adjusts the water's pH to enhance the deironization process.

Advantages of the cartridge:

  • characterized by exceptional ability to capture iron ions
  • contains technologically treated ion-exchange granulate with grain sizes from 0.2 to 0.7 mm
  • used for both cold and hot domestic water
  • prevents the formation of yellow stains on clothing and brown, rusty streaks on sink and bathtub walls
  • the cartridge has hygiene approvals from PZH
  • made from materials certified by NSF and FDA
  • water flowing through the cartridge penetrates the entire ion-exchange granulate bed, ensuring its maximum effectiveness
  • the cartridge excellently eliminates metallic taste and smell from water
  • features a polypropylene filter insert that additionally protects the cartridge

To extend the lifespan of the cartridge, a housing with a mechanical filter from the FCPS or FCPP series should be installed before the housing with the carbon cartridge.
