Description
The FCCA (Aquafilter) cartridge series consists of cartridges filled with a mixture of activated carbon and carbon from coconut shells.
The activated carbon from coconut shells used in the cartridge removes chlorine, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons from water (improving the taste and smell of the water), polycyclic aromatic compounds, phenol, benzene, as well as organic substances.
The cartridges are intended for treating cold drinking water or general use water. The cartridges should not be used for microbiologically contaminated water or water of unknown origin.
To extend the lifespan of the cartridge, a housing with a mechanical filter from the FCPS or FCPP series should be installed before the housing with the carbon cartridge.
*The lifespan of the cartridge depends on the quality of the water.
