The advanced electronic control panel has been designed to make everyday operation simple and the device's performance as economical as possible. EcoWater eVOLUTION 200 COMPACT is one of the most economical water softeners on the market, among other things thanks to the unique Formula 1 regeneration algorithm, which optimizes operating costs.

Intelligent electronics start regeneration at the optimal moment, taking into account past and forecast water consumption. The cycle can take place at times selected by the user, for example at night, which further increases convenience.

The heart of the device is a patented valve responsible for the stable and efficient operation of the entire system. It has been designed for high flow, durability, and reduced pressure loss.

An equally practical solution is the automatic lighting of the salt tank. The lighting inside the housing makes it easier to refill salt in dark rooms, for example in the basement. The light turns on when you remove the cover in Compact models or lift it in Boost and 500 Power models.

How does a water softener work?

A water softener operates based on an ion-exchange resin that removes from the water the ions responsible for hardness. The process works as follows:

• in water flowing through the special resin inside the device, calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness are exchanged for harmless sodium ions,
• after several or a dozen days, when the ion-exchange capacity of the resin is exhausted, the resin is automatically regenerated with a water and salt solution,
• resin regeneration takes about 2 hours, takes place at a convenient time for you, for example at night, and during this time you can still use water in the house, although it will be untreated water.

Why is it worth softening water at home?

Hard water contains an excess of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and iron.
