What is included in the set

The set includes 3 filter cartridges:

• FCPS20-AB – antibacterial mechanical cartridge

• FCCA – carbon cartridge

• FCCBL – carbon block

How this cartridge set works

The set combines mechanical filtration with activated carbon filtration. As a result, it effectively supports the operation of the water filter in the RO system, reduces the presence of mechanical impurities, and helps reduce substances that affect the taste, odor, and quality of water.

The selection of three cartridges corresponds to the typical pre-filtration configuration in reverse osmosis systems, where each filter cartridge performs a different task and prepares the water for the next purification stages.

1. FCPS20-AB – bacteriostatic mechanical cartridge

FCPS20-AB is a bacteriostatic sediment cartridge designed to remove larger, water-insoluble mechanical impurities. It effectively traps contaminants such as rust, suspended solids, sand, and silt.

The cartridge uses BACinix technology, which increases water filtration efficiency. In addition to classic mechanical filtration, it also has antibacterial and bacteriostatic action against microorganisms present in water.

BACinix technology uses silver nanoparticles, a natural element with bactericidal properties.

2. FCCA – coconut shell carbon cartridge

FCCA is a cartridge made of coconut shell carbon and Aquafilter polypropylene fleece. Its purpose is to improve water quality by reducing compounds that affect its practical properties.

The cartridge removes from the water:

• chlorine,

• chlorinated solvents,

• aromatic hydrocarbons,

• up to 85% of chlorinated pesticides,

• polycyclic compounds,

• phenol,

• benzene,

• organic substances.

The reduction of these contaminants improves the taste and odor of the water. The cartridge is equipped with a final filter that prevents particles of the filter media from escaping outside the cartridge.

3. FCCBL – 10-inch carbon block

FCCBL is a high-quality 10-inch carbon block made of activated carbon. It effectively reduces chlorine, organic substances, and pesticides, while improving the taste and odor of the water.

It is an important element of pre-treatment in a reverse osmosis system, especially where stable operation of the entire filtration system and high everyday user comfort matter.
