Description
CHLOR SHOCK pool granules pool chemicals 1 kg is a fast-dissolving preparation for disinfecting pool water and shock chlorination. The stabilized, organic granules with an active chlorine content of approx. 56% help maintain clean water during the initial filling of the basin, during regular use, and during periodic intensive disinfection. The neutral pH of the product, good solubility even in very hard water, and simple dosing make it practical pool chemistry for swimming pools and whirlpool tubs.
Effective chlorinating granules for disinfection and shock chlorination
The product is intended for disinfecting and shock chlorinating pool water. The granule form makes it easy to measure the appropriate amount of the product, and its fast and complete dissolving supports efficient preparation of the water for swimming.
This is a stabilized chlorinating granules product with a solid consistency, organic and stabilized, with an active chlorine content of approx. 56%. The product has a neutral pH and is also suitable for very hard pool water.

Biocidal action
The product has biocidal activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus strains at a concentration of 10 mg/l, with a contact time of 60 minutes and a temperature of 20°C.
Use and dosing
The product can be used both when starting up the pool and during regular water care, as well as for periodic shock chlorination.
Recommended doses
- For the first filling of the pool: approx. 80 g per 10 m3 of water.
- For continuous disinfection: every 3–6 days approx. 35 g per 10 m3 of water.
- For shock chlorination: in addition to continuous chlorination, add 35 g per 10 m3 of pool water every 2–3 weeks.
Dosing is best carried out in the evening. The appropriate amount of the product can be poured directly into the water along the edge of the pool or poured in as a previously prepared solution dissolved in a plastic container.
When preparing the solution, first pour water into the container and then add Chlor-Shock Granules, stirring constantly. It is recommended to maintain the free chlorine content in the basin of the swimming pool at 0.6 mg/l, and in whirlpools at 1 mg/l. Recommended water pH range: 7.0–7.4.
When is it worth using shock chlorine for the pool?
The granules work well in several typical operating situations: after the first filling of the basin, in a regular disinfection schedule, and whenever periodic shock chlorination is needed. This method of use helps maintain the water in proper hygienic condition and supports everyday pool care.
