Description
Professional alkaline-ionizing cartridge, used to lower the ORP level of water to (typically) -300 mV, and to alkalize water (up to pH 9.5-10). The technology used to release active hydrogen into the water flowing through the cartridge is unique, and the effects of alkalization achieved through it are the most durable.
Active hydrogen is one of the strongest antioxidants. It binds harmful free radicals, counteracting the processes of cell degeneration. It reacts with hydroxyl radicals and peroxynitrite that cause cell damage (mainly proteins, DNA, and lipids). It reduces the likelihood of oxidative stress occurrence.
Free radicals are atoms or molecules that have unpaired electrons. Various biochemical processes in the body lead to the formation of free radicals (also known as reactive oxygen species). External factors that cause the formation of radicals include, among others: tobacco smoke, industrial smoke, and some food products (mainly those containing polyunsaturated fatty acids, e.g., sunflower oil).
Due to the ease and speed of radical diffusion, they can lead to disturbances in cell functioning and the development of diseases such as: Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, atherosclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and cancer (in the latter case, damaged DNA of the cell can lead to uncontrolled cell growth).
- REDOX potential (ORP) reaches a level of up to -300 mV, which means that the water has strong antioxidant properties
- Alkalinity is raised to pH 10

- prevents the body from becoming acidic and the development of candidiasis.
The cartridge should not be used for microbiologically contaminated water or water of unknown origin.
