Description
Elbow 1/4" external thread x 1/4" for tubing.
Used in under-sink water treatment systems, including reverse osmosis systems. The A4ME4-W elbow is equipped with a quick-connect mechanism - the hose attachment involves pushing it firmly into the fitting, without the need for additional tightening or sealing with Teflon tape. Additional sealing by wrapping Teflon tape should only be done on the threaded part. A fitting with a self-sealing mechanism is commonly referred to as a "quick connector."
The A4ME4-W elbow is installed in most water filtration systems available on the market (e.g., in reverse osmosis filters, under-sink filters, etc.).
