Complete pre-filter for protecting a household water system

This is an advanced filtration set designed to operate at the main inlet of a home water system. Its role is to prepare water for further use throughout the entire installation and to protect fittings, pipes, and downstream treatment devices. By combining mechanical, carbon, and carbon-with-KDF filtration, the system works in multiple stages and addresses several typical problems found both in municipal water and in water from a private well.

The filter is easy to install, aesthetically designed, and ergonomic. It provides accurate mechanical filtration, removing sand, silt, and rust, reduces the concentration of heavy metals present in water such as arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, and iron, removes iron compounds and hydrogen sulfide, and also improves the taste and odor qualities of water by reducing chlorine and other organic compounds. Additionally, it helps remove phenol and benzene from water.

The 3-piece housing body ensures maximum tightness and convenient cartridge replacement, which is particularly important during regular operation of a household water treatment system.

How the 3-stage filtration works

The effectiveness of the set is based on three specialist Aquafilter cartridges. Each stage performs a different function, which is why the entire unit creates a coherent and practical system for preliminary filtration of cold utility and drinking water.

Stage I – FCPS20, 20-micron mechanical filtration

The first stage uses a polypropylene nonwoven cartridge with a 20-micron rating. This is a sediment cartridge designed to capture mechanical contaminants present in water.

Stage II – FCCBHD, coconut shell carbon cartridge

The second stage consists of a cartridge containing high-quality coconut shell carbon. It is intended for treatment of cold drinking water or general utility water. It is equipped with a final filter that prevents media particles from escaping outside the cartridge.

Stage III – FCCBKDF, carbon cartridge with KDF

The third stage uses a carbon cartridge filled with activated carbon from coconut shells and KDF media. This combination is responsible for further improvement of water quality and expanding the range of reduced contaminants.

Activated coconut shell carbon helps remove chlorine, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons from water, improving its taste and odor. It also reduces polyaromatic compounds, phenol, benzene, and other organic substances. KDF media prevents the growth of bacterial flora on the filtration media, lowers the concentration of heavy metals present in water such as arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, and iron, and also helps remove hydrogen sulfide and pesticides.

Pressure gauges make operation monitoring easier

The set includes 2 pressure gauges, also referred to as manometers. They allow pressure values to be read, which is a very practical convenience in everyday use. By observing pressure changes, it is easier to determine when cartridge replacement is approaching.

This solution increases ease of use and helps keep the filtration system in optimal working condition.

BACInix™ centering discs – stable installation and antimicrobial protection

The set includes 3 antibacterial centering discs. These components are made using BACInix™ antibacterial technology based on nanosilver, which acts bacteriostatically and helps prevent the growth of microorganisms inside the filtration system.
