The set combines three complementary filtration stages: mechanical cleaning, water softening, and carbon filtration responsible for reducing chlorine and improving water odor and taste.

Stage 1: FCPS20BB10 – 20 micron foam cartridge

The first stage is responsible for mechanical cleaning of water from solid contaminants. This is an important part of the process because the prefilter captures larger particles and helps protect the subsequent elements of the filtration system.

The cartridge removes contaminants such as:

• sand,
• silt,
• rust,
• suspended solids.

The cartridge is made of durable polypropylene and has a perforated surface, which translates into high filtration efficiency and good water flow. Its purpose is also to protect the plumbing system and the remaining cartridges from excessive clogging, supporting longer and more stable operation of the entire set.

The filtration accuracy of 20 microns makes it an effective pre-treatment stage for further water treatment.

Stage 2: ST10BB – softening cartridge with ion-exchange resin

The second filtration stage reduces water hardness by removing calcium and magnesium ions. This solution is especially useful where limescale deposits and accelerated wear of fixtures or household appliances are a problem.

Stage 3: FCBL10BB – 10 micron carbon block cartridge

The third stage provides chemical filtration and improves the usability of the water. The carbon block cartridge is responsible for reducing substances that affect odor, taste, and the comfort of everyday water use.
