One cartridge combines four media: calcium sulfite balls, activated carbon, KDF media, and ultrafiltration membrane with a precision of 0.01 microns.Improves the taste and clarity of water by reducing chlorine, odors, organic compounds, heavy metals, and microorganisms. ❇️How does it filter? – media and their role

1️⃣ Calcium sulfite balls

• Quickly neutralize free chlorine and combined chlorine through a chemical reaction between sulfite and chlorine.
• They preliminarily stabilize the water's pH, gently shifting it towards a slightly alkaline level.
• They protect subsequent media from excess chlorine, which shortens the lifespan of activated carbon.

What they reduce

• Residual chlorine responsible for the "pool" taste and smell.
• By-products of water chlorination at an early stage.process.

2️⃣ Activated carbon

Adsorbs (binds to its surface) numerous organic compounds responsible for the taste, smell, and color of water. This is the stage that provides the greatest improvement in the taste of beverages and dishes – coffee, tea, or soups come out noticeably better.

What it reduces

• Pesticides and herbicides of originagricultural.
• Trihalomethanes (e.g., chloroform), formed as by-products of chlorination disinfection.
• Phenols and their derivatives.
• Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.
• Organic solvents and volatile organic compounds.
• Free chlorine, taste and odor of chlorine.
• Color and turbidity of organic origin.

3️⃣KDF (copper/zinc redox media)

Utilizes oxidation and reduction reactions to convert dissolved forms of certain metals into less soluble forms, which are then retained. It limits the proliferation of bacteria and the formation of biofilm within the system.

What it reduces

• Heavy metals, particularly lead, mercury,cadmium, as well as arsenic in selected chemical forms.
• Chlorine and hydrogen sulfide as auxiliary, reducing unpleasant odor.

4️⃣ Ultrafiltration membrane 0.01 µm

Ultrafiltration is the separation of contaminants through a membrane with very small pores (0.01 microns). Such precision:

• retains most bacteria and fine solid particles,
• clearly improves clarity and freshness,
• does not remove natural minerals – the taste remains neutral.

⚙️ Cartridge replacement and service

• Recommended cartridge lifespan: up to 12 months(if the flow drops or the taste worsens, replace it earlier).
• Procedure: slightly tilt the filter by about 20°, twist, remove; insert the new one and twist until it stops. The valve in the head cuts off the supply, so the replacement is done "dry".
• Tools: are not required.
