At the cold water inlet to the house (as a pre-filter) or before the selected device: boiler, washing machine, dishwasher, softener, station

Installation – straightforward and without surprises:

1. ️Turn off the main valve, secure the work area
2. Screw onmounting bracket and level it
3. Connect the body, maintaining the flow direction (cold water)
4. Insert the cartridges into the cups and tighten the rings with a wrench
5. Slowly turn on the water, bleed with the button, and check for leaks

Operation and maintenance:

• Monitor dirt through the transparent cover
• Recommended intervals (depending on water quality and consumption): foam: every 1–3 months, carbon block and UDF: every 3–6 months
• Replace earlier if pressure drops or taste/smell worsens

Safety and good practices:

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

❓ Are other cartridges compatible besides those in the set?

Yes. The housingit with any standard 10" cartridge: mechanical (various micron ratings), carbon (block, GAC), specialized (e.g., iron removal – provided the manufacturer has planned a 10" version).

❓ Is the set suitable for well water?

Yes, as a pre-filter. In cases of exceeding iron/manganese levels, very high turbidity, or the smell of hydrogen sulfide, it is advisable to add appropriate media/stations as additional stages.

❓ Can it be installedhorizontal?

Recommended vertical installation (head at the top) ensures proper flow, easy cartridge replacement, and effective venting.

❓ What pressure is safe for the filter operation?

Recommended operational pressure up to 6 bar. The construction can withstand up to about 8 bar, but for longevity and safety, please stick to 6 bar and install a pressure reducer.

❓ Whatis there a real flow through the set?

Up to approx. 4000 l/h with fresh cartridges and good water parameters. The flow depends on the degree of contamination of the cartridges and the pressure in the system.

❓ When should cartridges be replaced?

When the pressure in the system noticeably drops, the taste/smell of the water worsens, or the approximate service life has passed. In more difficult conditions (well, high consumption), replacements may bemore frequent.

❓ Does the transparent shade promote algae growth?

If the filter is exposed to direct sunlight, please consider a cover or installation in a shaded area. This issue is typically not encountered in standard boiler rooms/niches.

❓ Does the set remove limescale from water?

This set does not soften water – it primarily provides mechanical protection and reduces chlorine. Up toA separate station (ion exchange softener) is needed for softening.

❓ Do carbon filters remove bacteria?

Activated carbon improves organoleptic parameters and has a bacteriostatic effect, but it does not replace disinfection. In case of microbiological risk, additional methods should be applied (e.g., UV after filtration).

❓ Can the cartridge be rinsed and used again?

Mechanical cartridgesFoam can sometimes be rinsed for a short-term refresh, but regular replacement is recommended for full effectiveness. Carbon filters cannot be regenerated – they must be replaced with new ones.

❓ Is the set suitable for use in low temperatures?

No. The minimum operating temperature is about 2°C. Please protect from freezing – frost can damage the housing and seals.

❓ How to prepare the installation forinstallation?

It is recommended to include shut-off valves before and after the filter, as well as a service bypass, so that the entire system does not need to be turned off when replacing the cartridges.

❓ Can the water be temporarily milky after installation?

Yes, this is typical aeration after startup. The phenomenon subsides after a few minutes of flushing and venting using the button on the head.
