Purpose:
The WodaRO DEMI TRIO set is an advanced water demineralization system that uses a mixture of two ion-exchange resins. Ideal for obtaining water with high chemical purity, used in various applications such as:
- Water for laboratory purposes
- Demineralized water for medical and dental devices
- Water for marine aquaristics
- Demineralization of water for window washing (prevents streaks)
- Reduction of water conductivity to values close to 0 uS
Components of the Set:
- 3 filter housings: For effective multi-stage filtration
- Purolite MB400 resin: A mixture of strongly acidic cation and strongly basic anion resin
- Mounting accessories: Including a triple mounting plate, filter wrench, elbows, and hoses
Demineralization Process:
- Cation Resin: Water comes into contact with cation resin (in the form of H+), exchanging cations for hydrogen ions.
- Anion Resin: Then it flows through anion resin (in the form of OH-), exchanging anions for hydroxyl ions.
- Final Product: Demineralized water is produced with a chemical structure similar to H₂O.
