TFC-300F Aquafilter is an osmotic membrane for reverse osmosis systems. It purifies water from most dissolved organic and inorganic contaminants, including heavy metals, chemical compounds, and microorganisms. It also helps to reduce salt content and significantly lowers hardness, providing water suitable for drinking and aquarium applications. For longer lifespan, use pre-filters.
TFC-300F Aquafilter 300 GPD is an efficient osmosis membrane designed for use in installations such as reverse osmosis, an RO filter, and a reverse osmosis system. It is responsible for the most precise stage of water purification, effectively reducing the amount of dissolved organic and inorganic contaminants, salts, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, and chemical compounds. It is a practical choice for preparing drinking water, as well as for aquarium applications where high purity and a clear reduction in hardness matter.

The Aquafilter TFC-300F membrane has been designed for reverse osmosis filters, systems regarded as one of the most precise methods of water treatment in domestic and specialist applications. In practice, the membrane is the heart of the entire RO unit and is responsible for separating pure water from a wide spectrum of unwanted substances present in the feed water.
The contaminant separation efficiency ranges from 96% to 99.99%. The membrane retains dissolved organic and inorganic contaminants, bacteria, viruses, chemical compounds, and heavy metals with precision down to 0.001 µm. At the same time, it removes dissolved salt compounds, resulting in a hardness reduction of over 90%.
The membrane structure is based on multiple layers of material wound around a perforated core located inside the cartridge. This design increases the filtration surface area and ensures effective operation in a water filtration system.
During operation, contaminated water is forced under pressure onto the membrane surface. Water molecules pass through microscopic pores, while contaminants are separated and discharged to the drain. The purified water then passes through openings into the central core and, under pressure, flows out of the membrane as treated water.
This operating principle is what makes a reverse osmosis filter such an effective solution wherever water of a very high purity level is required.
The TFC-300F membrane helps reduce the presence of many groups of contaminants found in water. This includes primarily:
This membrane cartridge is suitable wherever a reverse osmosis system is expected to provide highly pure water. Thanks to the effective reduction of contaminants and hardness, the membrane is suitable for preparing water for everyday consumption as well as for aquarium applications, where water parameters are particularly important.
To maintain high operating efficiency and longer membrane life, it is worth using appropriate pre-filters. They protect the membrane from excessive contaminant load present in the feed water and can extend its service life even to several years.
When replacing the membrane, the flow restrictor installed on the tube discharging contaminated water to the sewage system must also be replaced.
Membrane service life applies to standard use and may vary depending on the quality of the incoming water and random factors such as excessive contamination of well water or a water supply network failure.

Yes. The membrane removes dissolved salt compounds, which is why water hardness reduction exceeds 90%.
Yes, the membrane makes it possible to obtain ideally purified water suitable for drinking. The product is also used in aquarium applications.
To extend membrane life, pre-filters should be used. They protect the membrane from excessive contaminant load and can allow for years of operation under standard use.
Yes. When replacing the membrane, the flow restrictor on the tube discharging contaminated water to the sewage system must be replaced at the same time.
Service life depends primarily on the quality of the incoming water and operating conditions. It may be shortened, among other things, by excessive contamination of well water or in the event of a water supply network failure.
