Role of individual filtration stages

Pre-filtration

The first three cartridges prepare the water for the membrane to operate. The 5 µm polypropylene cartridge retains larger mechanical impurities, the block carbon cartridge reduces the presence of chlorine and organic and aromatic compounds, and the 1 µm polypropylene cartridge captures even finer particles.
