The set includes a Pentair 100 GPD osmotic membrane, a properly matched flow restrictor, and FR-FLUSH with a bypass for periodic membrane flushing. The solution supports efficient water treatment, helps maintain the performance of the water filter, and makes regular operation of the entire water filtration system easier.
The membrane retains 96-99% of dissolved organic and inorganic contaminants, heavy metals, and selected bacteria and viruses with a size of no less than 0.001 micron. Thanks to the FR-FLUSH set, sediments can be periodically flushed from the membrane, which supports longer and more stable RO system operation.
Effective water filtration in RO systems
The Pentair 100 GPD membrane has been designed for use in reverse osmosis systems. During the filtration process, it retains 96-99% of dissolved organic and inorganic contaminants in water, heavy metals, and some bacteria and viruses with a size of no less than 0.001 micron.
Contaminants are separated from the water stream and discharged to the drain. The purified water passes through the openings to the central spindle, and then, under pressure, flows out of the membrane.

FR-FLUSH – membrane flushing set
FR-FLUSH is a membrane flushing set for reverse osmosis systems. It includes a bypass and is mounted to the flow restrictor.
The solution makes it possible to flush deposits from the RO membrane, which helps extend its service life by even several years. This is especially important where the reverse osmosis filter operates regularly and is exposed to gradual buildup of contaminants on the membrane surface.
Installation method
Installing the FR-FLUSH set is simple, but it requires maintaining the correct direction of water flow.
Disconnect the water supply to the system.
Detach the flow restrictor from the membrane housing.
Cut the red hose from the FR-FLUSH set to the appropriate length.
Install the existing restrictor on the red hose.
When connecting the set, pay attention to the direction of flow. The markings in the form of a small arrow on the ball valve and the arrow on the restrictor help with this.
Operation and periodic membrane flushing
To maintain high membrane efficiency, it is recommended to flush it 1 to 2 times a month during system operation.
During flushing, the bypass valve should be opened so that water can flow freely to the drain. After about 2 minutes, the valve should be closed. This allows the RO membrane to be flushed under high pressure.
The membrane should not be used with microbiologically contaminated water or water of unknown origin.
