L-PS-Q UST-M is a linear sedimentation insert for pre-filtration of water, designed for built-in installations such as a reverse osmosis system, osmosis filter, aquarium systems, and other water treatment solutions. It effectively retains suspended solids and sediments, thereby protecting subsequent filtration stages, the installation, and components such as the osmosis membrane. The insert is equipped with external 1/4" plugs, compatible with quick connectors and enabling installation without additional sealing.

Operating tip: the replacement frequency of the insert depends on the installation location and the level of contamination of the feed water. The more sediments and suspended solids in the water, the faster the filter element may wear out.
Operation and recommended replacement
If the insert is installed before the membrane in a built-in system, replacement is recommended after 3 months of use. At the same time, the operating period should not exceed 6 months.
If the filter operates at the final stage of water treatment, the insert can be replaced no less often than once a year.
Regular replacement is important not only for filtration efficiency, but also for protecting subsequent system components, especially when the insert works with solutions such as a reverse osmosis filter or an osmosis membrane.
