Description
The linear L-GAC carbon filter is filled with the highest quality media made of granulated activated carbon from coconut shells.
Extremely effective in removing unwanted impurities from water and improving its taste and odor. Standardly installed in reverse osmosis filters, but it is also used for water filtration before refrigerators with water dispensers and ice makers.
The L-GAC filter has an end fitting used in most commonly found osmotic filters on the Polish market - internal 1/4 inch openings, into which mounting fittings are screwed, sealing the connection with Teflon tape. The design of the cartridge is intended to make its installation and replacement simple and not require the use of specialized tools.
The size of the carbon grains has been selected so that the water remains in contact with the media longer, ensuring maximum effectiveness in adsorbing impurities. Linear carbon filters, depending on the application, can serve as pre-filters (e.g., in built-in systems like nLine, Water Life, and For Life) and as final polishing filters in most typical reverse osmosis systems.
In cases where the filter is installed before the membrane (built-in systems), it is recommended to replace it after 3 months, but no less frequently than every six months. If the filter is installed at the final stage of water treatment, the cartridge can be replaced no less frequently than once a year.
