Description
The linear carbon filter L-GAC-Q is filled with the highest quality granulated activated carbon made from coconut shells.
The L-GAC-Q filter features a new type of end connection, used in modern reverse osmosis filters - external 1/4 inch plugs, onto which mounting fittings are attached (no additional sealing is required).
Extremely effective in removing unwanted contaminants from water and improving its taste and odor. It is typically installed in reverse osmosis filters, but is also used for water filtration before refrigerators with water dispensers and ice makers.
The size of the carbon granules has been selected to ensure that water remains in contact with the medium longer, providing maximum adsorption efficiency of contaminants. Linear carbon filters, depending on the application, can serve as pre-filters (e.g., in built-in systems like nLine, Water Life, and For Life) as well as final polishing filters in most typical reverse osmosis systems.
In cases where the filter is installed before the membrane (built-in systems), it is recommended to replace it after 3 months, but no less frequently than every six months. If the filter is installed at the final stage of water treatment, the cartridge can be replaced no less frequently than once a year.
