Description
The nipple is made of high-quality material and is used to connect two elements with 1/4 inch internal threads.
The connector is available with a 1/4" external thread. We recommend this connector for connecting two or more filter housings. It allows for the independent assembly of a filtration system for any application. Each additional stage of filtration (another housing) enables the use of another cartridge.
For example, you can assemble a set of 3 filter housings with cartridges: made of polypropylene string, activated carbon, and a water softener. This results in a cheap and highly effective water filter that removes solid impurities, organic matter, chlorine, lead, and softens drinking water. When connecting the housings with the KF1415 connector, it is necessary to use Teflon tape to seal the connections.
