This combination is responsible for broad filtration performance. The cartridge removes chlorine, organic substances, phenol and benzene compounds, as well as up to 85% of chlorinated pesticides and heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury.

KDF medium has bacteriostatic properties, which means it prevents the growth of bacterial flora on the filtration medium.
