How does the carbon filter work in the bottle?

The reusable bottle is equipped with a replaceable carbon filter that should be changed every month. The filtering medium is made from coconut shells and has been selected to improve the everyday experience of drinking tap water.

It reduces the unpleasant taste and smell of chlorine while leaving the amount of naturally occurring minerals unchanged, especially calcium and magnesium.
