Step 1: Preparing the filter and bottle
- Rinse the new filter under running cold water.
- Wash the other bottle components in water up to 50°C.
- Remember: the bottle must not be sterilized by boiling or washed in a dishwasher.
Step 2: First filling
- Fill the bottle with cold tap water.
- Insert the filter inside, screw on the mouthpiece and shake several times.
- The water may take on a greyish tint from the carbon – this is normal.
- Pour out the water and rinse the bottle.
Step 3: Second filling and emptying
- Fill the bottle with fresh water and empty its contents through the mouthpiece.
- Rinse the bottle and repeat the process.
- The bottle is now ready to use!
Step 4: Regular filter replacement
- Replace the filter every month.
