Description
Whole House Water Filter with BYPASS Pipe Body + FCPP20M10B Cartridge is a complete water filter mounted at the inlet of the installation, designed for effective mechanical filtration and convenient service handling. The set combines a 10" BB pipe body with a built-in bypass and an Aquafilter FCPP20M10B filter cartridge with a filtration precision of 20 microns, which helps retain sand, rust, and sediment. It is a practical element of a home water filtration system and effective support where everyday water treatment, protection of plumbing fixtures, and easy integration with additional solutions such as a reverse osmosis filter or another RO system are important.
Complete inlet water filter for the home
This set has been prepared as a ready-to-install solution for the main water supply line. The core of the system is a 10" BB body with a built-in bypass, working together with the Aquafilter FCPP20M10B string cartridge.
This combination provides effective mechanical filtration and convenience in everyday use. The filter helps reduce the amount of solid contaminants present in the water, while also making servicing easier without the need for long interruptions in the installation.
Main benefits
- a complete set for mechanical water filtration at the home inlet,
- 10" BB pipe body with a built-in bypass,
- Aquafilter FCPP20M10B string filter cartridge,
- mechanical filtration accuracy of 20 microns,
- 3 bypass operating modes: Service, Bypass, and Off,
- easier servicing without interrupting water supply,
- 1" thread and 1" to 3/4" reducer included,
- additional 3/8" connector for use with RO systems,
- installation accessories to facilitate mounting.
10" BB body with bypass – convenience and full control
The 10" BB body with bypass is a versatile and reliable filtration solution for home installations and applications requiring convenient control of water flow. Thanks to its extended design, the user gains greater system flexibility and simpler operation during maintenance.
The built-in bypass allows the system operating mode to be quickly adjusted to the current situation: normal filtration, temporary bypass of the cartridge, or complete flow shut-off. This is particularly useful during filter cartridge replacement, installation inspection, or service work.
Body with bypass features
- Bypass with three modes – full control over water flow: filtration, bypass, and shut-off.
- Innovative control valve – convenient switching between operating modes.
- Pressure relief button – safer and more convenient body operation.
- Compatibility with RO systems – the additional 3/8" connector makes it easy to connect with solutions such as reverse osmosis, an osmosis filter, or a reverse osmosis system.
- Versatile application – the possibility of working with various filter cartridges and installation in different points of the system.
FCPP20M10B string cartridge by Aquafilter
The set includes a high-quality Aquafilter FCPP20M10B mechanical cartridge. It is a string cartridge made of polypropylene string, designed to retain typical solid contaminants present in domestic water.
The filter cartridge with 20-micron efficiency works well as a pre-filtration stage in home filtration systems. It helps protect downstream installation components, plumbing fixtures, household appliances, and additional water treatment systems.
FCPP20M10B cartridge properties
- high-quality mechanical filter,
- removes solid contaminants such as sand, rust, and sediment,
- made of polypropylene string,
- filtration efficiency: 20 microns,
- large filtration surface supporting longer service life,
- suitable for home water filtration systems.
Bypass operating modes
One of the most important advantages of this model is the built-in bypass with three operating modes. This solution increases user comfort and allows convenient management of water flow without the need to disassemble installation components.
- Service – water flows through the filter and is mechanically cleaned by the cartridge.
- Bypass – water bypasses filtration, allowing water supply to be maintained during servicing.
- Off – complete water shut-off.
The control valve allows easy switching between filtration, bypass, and shut-off. This makes it possible to freely control the operation of the installation depending on needs.
Safer and simpler service handling
The body is equipped with a pressure relief button, which increases ease of use and simplifies maintenance tasks. It is a practical solution when opening the housing and replacing the cartridge.
During servicing, the Bypass mode can be used so that water supply in the installation is not interrupted. Before unscrewing the body, it is worth setting the appropriate operating mode and using the pressure relief button, which improves the safe handling of the set.
Compatibility with RO systems and wide application
The additional 3/8" connector makes integration with RO systems easier. As a result, the set can work with solutions using a reverse osmosis filter, an osmosis filter, or an extended reverse osmosis system as an earlier stage of installation protection.
The universal design and the possibility of using various cartridges make the body suitable for many configurations. It works well both in home filtration systems and in more demanding installations where flexibility in cartridge selection and convenient operation are important.
