Three-piece housing for convenient operation

Thanks to its three-piece construction, the Aquafilter FHPR12-3V housing is particularly well suited for installation in places where the total height required for filter operation matters. In practice, to open the housing, there is no need to unscrew the bowl downward from the head as in standard housings. It is enough to loosen the nut, which significantly improves service access.

The filter is intended for cold water and for operation at pressures up to 6 bar. The high-quality housing is equipped with 1/2" brass threads, which increases connection durability and installation convenience.

The housing consists of three elements

• filter head, screwed to the cold water pipe,
• filter bowl, in which the filter cartridge is placed,
• nut (clamp ring) for tightening the bowl to the head.

Drain valve and cartridge flushing without disassembly

A drain valve is built into the bottom of the filter bowl, allowing the cartridge inside to be flushed with pressure from the water installation. This solution greatly simplifies routine maintenance and shortens the time needed to remove accumulated contaminants.

When a mesh or pleated cartridge is installed in the housing, contaminants collected by it can be flushed out under pressure into a container placed underneath or through a hose connected to the drain valve. This allows the filter to be cleaned regularly without the need to dismantle the entire system each time.

FCPNN50M cartridge – reusable sediment cartridge

The set includes the efficient FCPNN50M sediment cartridge, used for cold water treatment. It is a reusable cartridge designed for standard 10" housings as well as 9 7/8" housings.

The nylon mesh captures sand-sized impurities and similar solid particles, preventing them from entering the further part of the water installation. This type of filter cartridge practically does not cause pressure drops, as resistance to water flow is minimal.

In practice, this is a very convenient solution because it allows the cartridge to be flushed without having to unscrew it. As a result, filter operation is simpler, faster, and more comfortable on a daily basis.
