Description
The FiTalco Grafit breathalyzer is a tester with a fourth-generation electrochemical sensor. It has a measurement range from 0.00 to 4.00 per mille. Its high measurement accuracy allows for the measurement of hundredths of a per mille.
Thanks to the use of a fourth-generation sensor, the breathalyzer can provide an accurate result even when there is a high alcohol content in the exhaled air. The electrochemical sensor used in the breathalyzer is resistant to interference caused by other chemical compounds present in the tested air sample, and it also has a linear characteristic and high selectivity, reacting only to the presence of ethyl alcohol in the exhaled air.
The breathalyzer features a large display with dual-color backlighting, where we can read all information and warnings about exceeding the permissible alcohol dose. After turning on the breathalyzer, it is ready for the first measurement after 35 seconds. After hearing a signal, the measurement is made by blowing a sample of air into the device for about 5 seconds. The test result is displayed on the screen after up to 35 seconds. If the alcohol content in the exhaled air exceeds 0.19 per mille, the breathalyzer activates an alarm (visual and audible), which additionally warns us that we have reached an illegal alcohol dose in the exhaled air according to Polish law.
