Description
The professional flow restrictor is used in reverse osmosis systems at the wastewater outlet. It connects via so-called quick couplings. The restrictor affects the lifespan of the osmotic membrane, allowing for its cleaning. The restrictor forces water flow, cleaning the membrane. It allows for the flushing and drainage of accumulated contaminants into the sewage system. In the case of heavily contaminated water (mainly with lime and iron), the restrictor should be replaced every few years. Regular replacement ensures the proper functioning of the membrane.
- When replacing the osmotic membrane with a new one, a new flow restrictor should be installed. It is mounted in place of the old, worn-out restrictor - on the pipe that drains dirty water to the sewage system.
The restrictor is suitable for membranes with 75 GPD.
