Filtration and pressure control in one device

The FK06 filter belongs to the group of filters with filter screen rinsing. During normal operation, the device continuously filters water, retaining mechanical impurities on the screen, such as rust, sand, fibers, and hemp shives, as well as other fine particles present in the installation.

The built-in pressure reducer protects the installation against the negative effects of excessive pressure. At the same time, it helps reduce water consumption and improves the operating conditions of installation components located further downstream in the system.

How does filter screen rinsing work?

In the Honeywell FK06-3/4AA model, impurities retained by the filter screen and sediment collected at the bottom of the housing are discharged outside the filter by opening the ball valve located in the lower part of the housing. This solution simplifies operation and helps keep the filter ready for further use.

An important advantage of this design is that filtered water is supplied even during rinsing, which increases everyday convenience.
