TOP FILTER WC10-20B is a reusable mechanical insert with a pleated design, made of polyester. Its task is to capture solid contaminants from water that can impair the performance of the installation and downstream filtration devices.

The insert effectively removes:

• rust.

With a filtration rating of 20 microns, the WC10-20B model works well as a pre-filtration stage wherever protection of fixtures, filter housings, and other installation components matters. Such an insert can also be a good addition to systems using an osmotic filter, reverse osmosis filter, or a more advanced reverse osmosis system.

Pleated construction and reusable operation

The polyester pleated structure increases the working surface of the insert, which supports effective capture of mechanical contaminants while maintaining convenient operation. The WC10-20B model is reusable, which means it does not need to be replaced immediately after the first signs of clogging.

The insert can be rinsed up to 3 times to extend its service life. This is a practical solution for users who want to maintain effective mechanical filtration while reducing the frequency of purchasing new consumables.

Operation and use

To maintain filtration efficiency, it is worth regularly checking the condition of the insert and responding to visible contamination of the filter surface or a drop in flow rate. The insert is designed to operate within a temperature range of 2 to 42°C.

The ability to rinse it up to 3 times extends the service period, but once the filtration capacity is exhausted or in the case of permanent contamination, it should be replaced with a new element. In applications with more heavily contaminated water, the condition of the insert should be checked more frequently.
