1. Turn off the water and unscrew the current accessory (handheld shower, rain shower, or faucet tip).
2. Screw in the filter in the chosen location (on the armshower, centrally in front of the handset, directly to the tap or in front of the rain shower)
3. Reinstall the accessory (handset, rain shower, or tap end) onto the lower thread of the filter.
4. Turn on the water, check for leaks, and flush the filter for about 1 minute.

No. To realistically soften water, a softener must be used on the main supply; shower filters are toothere is a small amount of ion-exchange resin to effectively reduce hardness.

3. Does the installation require tools or Teflon tape?

No. The installation is tool-free and does not require Teflon tape, althoughon old or calcified threads, tape can help create a tighter seal.

5. Do shower filters really help hair?
