The osmotic membrane is designed for reverse osmosis filters. It is the most precise method of water purification, capable of retaining from 96% to 99.99% of all dissolved organic and inorganic contaminants, bacteria, viruses, chemical compounds, and heavy metals with an accuracy of up to 0.001 µm. The membrane removes dissolved salt compounds from water, resulting in a hardness reduction of over 90%. This allows for the production of perfectly purified drinking water, as well as water used in aquaristics. Proper protection of the membrane through the use of pre-filters can extend its lifespan to several years!
CONSTRUCTION AND PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:
The membrane consists of many layers wound around a perforated core located inside the membrane. Contaminated water is pumped under pressure onto the surface of the membrane, where water particles penetrate through microscopic pores. As a result, all contaminants are separated and rejected into the drain. The perfectly purified water passes through the openings to the central core and, under pressure, flows out of the membrane.
When replacing the membrane, the flow restrictor (restrictor) should also be replaced, which is installed on the hose that drains the contaminated water to the sewage system.
*Lifespan refers to standard usage; it may vary depending on the quality of the incoming water or in the case of random factors such as: excessive contamination of well water, failure of the water supply network
