- The cartridges contain a bed that removes mechanical impurities, a dechlorinating bed, and a KDF bed. They remove chlorine, organic substances, phenol and benzene compounds, as well as up to 85% of chlorinated pesticides, heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury. The KDF bed has bacteriostatic properties (prevents the growth of bacterial flora on the filtration bed).
