The filter is designed to operate with cold water at pressures up to 6 bar. The high-quality housing is equipped with 1-inch brass threads.
The housing consists of three elements
- filter head, attached to the cold water pipe,
- filter bowl, in which the filter cartridge is placed,
- nut (flange) for tightening the bowl to the head.
How the self-cleaning function works
A drain valve is fitted in the bottom of the filter bowl, allowing the cartridge inside to be flushed under pressure from the water system. This practical solution makes it possible to quickly remove accumulated impurities without having to dismantle the housing each time.
When a mesh or pleated cartridge is installed in the housing, the impurities collected by it can be flushed out under pressure into a container placed underneath or through a hose connected to the drain valve.
